Joseph M. Morrison is vice president, default servicing, with Buffalo, N.Y.-based M&T Bank. He has more than 15 years of servicing experience in the mortgage and consumer lending industries, having held front-line management roles in the areas of collections, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure and more. Morrison holds a B.S. in Finance from Canisius College in Buffalo.


Richard Roniger

Richard Roniger is the executive vice president and chief operations officer of First American Loss Mitigation Services, a unit of First American Real Estate Information Services Inc. Prior to joining First American, he oversaw the operations of The BJF Group, an asset management and loss mitigation firm, as its president. Roniger has also worked in the FDIC's Management Consignment Program, where he was placed into distressed financial institutions as their chief operating officer or chief financial officer. Roniger has been involved in the management and disposition of nonperforming loans for over 20 years and has overseen the management and disposition of more than 400,000 nonperforming loans.


John D. Clunk

John D. Clunk is an attorney and president of The Law Offices of John D. Clunk Co. LPA. He has concentrated primarily in representing the mortgage banking industry since 1986 in the area of creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation practices and money judgments. Clunk received his B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University (1979) and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve Law School (1982). He is licensed in both the federal and state courts of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Akron Bar Association. Clunk is also the honorary chairman of the National Republic Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council and an active member of the AFN, REOMAC and the MBA.


Jeffrey D. Weisserman

Jeffrey D. Weisserman is general counsel for Trott & Trott PC. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, he was a partner at Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss PC in Detroit, where he specialized in representing mortgage lenders and other industry participants in litigation and other matters. Weisserman graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 1984 and received his J.D. with honors from Wayne State University in 1987. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association and Mortgage Bankers Association of Michigan.
